TEN CINEMATOGRAPHIC MASTERPIECES - 25/05/2006

Wed May 24, 2006, 4:56 PM
These films are my favourites as of 25/05/06.
A new list will be posted when I feel like it.
I needed to narrow the list to 10 pieces of work:
It has to do with getting the smallest and most precise possible
representation of my feelings as a filmmaker and film enthuiast,
at a precise and sharply defined moment of my existence.

THE SECRET ADVENTURES OF TOM THUMB - Dave Borthwick - 1993
MOTHER & SON - Aleksander Sokurov - 1997
STALKER - Andrei Tarkovsky - 1979
PEEPING TOM - Michael Powell - 1960
BROKEN FLOWERS - Jim Jarmusch - 2005
SPIDER - David Cronenberg - 2003
THE MAN WHO WASN'T THERE - Joel & Ethan Coen - 2001
BARRY LYNDON - Stanley Kubrick - 1975
QUEST - Saul Bass - 1983
THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN - Terry Gilliam - 1988

Nota: "QUEST" by Saul Bass cannot be found on a DVD to my knowledge.

:iconbruitdoucefarce:
Of course I like OS X, the Jag, the Puma, the Tiger, I like them all. Not quite the same though, and you can appreciate old cars AND new cars, the same goes aith OSes.
